Job summary

Sentry Equipment Corp. is seeking a commercial and technical liaison to coordinate between customers, manufacturers' representatives, outside sales personnel, and internal departments for engineered solutions.

You will analyze customer needs, purchase orders, contracts, and technical specifications, establish design and pricing criteria, and prepare accurate proposals. You will own front-end order management through to Operations Project Management handoff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in coordination with multiple internal stakeholders.
• Review orders and specifications to confirm requirements align with quoted scope.
• Assess applications and use technical resources to recommend sizing and configuration.
• Determine pricing, develop quotations, and communicate assumptions clearly.
• Follow up with customers on quotations and coordinate with Outside Sales.
• Maintain front-end project records and control documents.
• Prepare pre-approval documents and deliverables.
• Lead meetings during pre-approval and document decisions.
• Coordinate scope changes and manage commercial changes.
• Monitor front-end costs and escalate risks.
• Prepare order transmittal and handoff packages.
• Support sales processes: HubSpot, price sheets, manuals.
• Recommend improvements to product performance and costs.
• Perform order and customer follow-up to sustain relationships.
• Provide technical support to traveling sales managers and reps.
• Assist Marketing with materials and new product development teams.
• Develop and implement sales training materials.
• Travel occasionally for customer calls and events.
• Complete special projects and other duties.
