Job summary

Sentry Equipment is seeking a Sales & Applications Engineer III to act as the commercial and technical liaison for engineered and application-based solutions. You will analyze customer needs, purchase orders, contracts, and technical specs to establish design and pricing criteria, and prepare accurate proposals.

Own front-end order management through approval and handoff to Operations Project Management. Responsibilities include preparing proposals in coordination with multiple internal teams,

Qualifications

• Directly liaises between customers, manufacturers' reps and internal teams to craft engineered solutions.
• Prepares accurate technical and commercial proposals with clear assumptions and exclusions.
• Supports sales processes including quotes, pricing, and order handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals coordinating with Outside Sales, Engineering, Production Control, Manufacturing, Quality, and other stakeholders.
• Review customer orders and specifications to ensure alignment with quoted scope; identify clarifications.
• Analyze applications to size products and select appropriate materials and configurations.
• Determine pricing and deliverables; communicate schedule expectations to customers and teams.
• Support customers through quotations and pre-approval processes; coordinate with sales to meet needs.
