Job summary

Bayer AG is seeking a Sales Agronomist III based in Minnesota to advise growers with agronomic insights and Bayer Crop Science products. You will lead portfolio planning, build grower relationships, and drive in-season support to expand market share.

The role emphasizes strategic sales, data-driven decisions, and remote collaboration with Field Sales Representatives. Travel about 60% is required; compensation includes salary and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in agriculture or related field preferred.
Minimum 8 years of relevant agriculture experience in agronomy, technology, sales, or marketing.
Experience with sales teams and teams working remotely preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead development of Bayer portfolio business plan with Field Sales Representatives for assigned geography.
Build relationships with key growers by providing agronomic insights and placement recommendations.
Deliver grower demand generation plans and support others' role responsibilities.
Provide whole-farm agronomic advice through education, product selection, and placement.
Drive trials related to Bayer Portfolio with targeted growers.
Support key seasonal milestones such as crop planning and harvest monitoring.
