Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Sales Agronomist III to act as the local expert on Crop Science products and innovations. You will cultivate relationships with growers, provide agronomic-driven advice, and drive in-season success through planning, trials, and execution.

You will travel about 60% of the time, support field sales teams, and deliver strategic recommendations to leadership for improved results. This is a residence-based role with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of Bayer portfolio business plans with Field Sales Representatives for assigned geography.
• Build relationships with key growers and provide agronomic insights and product placement recommendations.
• Deliver grower demand generation plans and support team responsibilities.
• Provide whole-farm agronomic advice and stay informed on agricultural research.
• Drive trials with targeted growers and monitor field activities throughout the year.
• Support seasonal milestones and coordinate with stakeholders for planning and execution.
• Collaborate with teams on business objectives and program alignment.
• Manage annual SG&A budget and travel ≈60%.
