Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in aircraft engines, seeks a Commercial Engines Safety Management System (SMS) Manager. You will lead SMS initiatives, drive safety culture, and coordinate risk management across CE businesses and the MRO network.

You will engage with leadership, oversee audits, and ensure compliance with FAA/EASA considerations, while guiding training and messaging to sustain a proactive safety program. This U.S.-based role requires onsite work and travel as needed.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, Quality, Systems Engineering, or related discipline with 12+ years in cross-functional roles (or an advanced degree with 10+ years).
• Position may require 25% travel based on business needs.
• Experience supporting training, culture, communication, or engagement programs.

Responsabilidades

• Act as Business Unit leader to develop, drive and engage SMS initiatives for CE.
• Serve as SMS Steering Group’s Voice of CE Accountable Executive.
• Coordinate CE SMS leadership boards and ensure initiative execution stays on track.
• Identify and manage CE systemic risks with CE teams and leadership.
• Engage CE ambassadors to raise SMS culture and awareness.
• Support CE SMS initiatives and drive workflow within CE business.
• Act as SMS focal for CE Aftermarket to support audits (FAA) and inquiries.
• Standardize SMS procedures for the CE MRO network.
