Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, seeks a System Safety Discipline Analyst to lead proactive and reactive safety efforts for Commercial and Military engines. You will work with Program Chief Engineers and EPI to prioritize safety actions, support safety board activities, and ensure compliance with SMS and SIM processes, traveling up to 10% as needed.

The role requires a STEM degree and extensive turbine engine experience, along with U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM required.
• 10 years of experience with aircraft turbine engine operation, design, or maintenance (or 7 years with an Advanced degree).
• U.S. Citizen – citizenship required for access to program/contract information.

Responsabilités

• Lead System Safety activities to sustain safety and reliability for Commercial and Military Engines.
• Support Flight Safety issues that impact operational fleets.
• Collaborate with OEMs (Boeing, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, Gulfstream) and military services.
• Proactively progress safety issues with Program Chief Engineers and EPI management.
• Promote Safety Management System (SMS) and SIM processes across RTX.
