Job summary

Manhattan Construction seeks a Safety Manager 2 to lead site safety programs across projects in the Atlanta area. You will enforce safety, health, and environmental policies, mentor junior safety staff, and drive a culture of incident prevention and continuous improvement.

The role requires deep knowledge of OSHA standards, experience with CCIP/OCIP programs, and the ability to coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and regional safety personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant safety experience.
• STS( C ) / CHST or BCSP equivalent certification.
• Minimum 12 years of industry safety experience.
• First aid and CPR certified instructor.

Responsibilities

• Mentor Safety Manager 1 and promote continuous safety improvement.
• Administer CCIP/OCIP or other Insurance programs.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate safety updates with regional personnel and project managers.
• Maintain safety records and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Deliver safety training and collaborate with subcontractors.
