Manhattan Construction is seeking a Safety Manager 2 in Texas to enforce safety, health, and environmental policies on construction projects. You will lead safety programs, mentor Safety Manager 1, and drive continuous improvement in safety culture.

Responsibilities include administering insurance programs, coordinating OSHA site visits, conducting incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with 29 CFR 1926 and 1910 standards. Travel may be required in the region.

Qualifications

• 4-year bachelor's degree or relevant safety experience.
• Board Certified Safety Professional STS(C) and/or CHST or equivalent.
• 12 years of industry experience.
• First aid & CPR certified instructor.

Responsabilités

• Enforce safety, health, and environmental policies on projects.
• Mentor Safety Manager 1 and promote continuous safety improvement.
• Administer insurance programs (CCIP/OCIP) and coordinate with insurers.
• Coordinate OSHA site visits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead safety training and incident investigations at projects.
• Investigate incidents and determine root causes; implement corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records and files; ensure proper documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to promote safety.
