Job summary

Manhattan Construction Group in Atlanta is seeking a Safety Manager 2 to enforce safety, health, and environmental policies across active construction projects. This role leads, mentors, and enforces safety practices to identify hazards, eliminate risks, and maintain an injury-free worksite in line with 29 CFR standards.

You will supervise Safety Manager 1 staff, conduct weekly safety trainings, investigate incidents, and coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety or related field required.
• STS/CHST certification or equivalent required.
• 12 years of safety experience in construction environments.
• First aid & CPR certification required.

• Oversee and enforce safety policies on sites.
• Provide mentorship to Safety Manager 1.
• Conduct weekly safety trainings and incident investigations.
