Job summary

Upgrade Resources in Port Washington, WI is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to lead and coordinate environmental, health, and safety programs across a multi-state division. You will own safety audits, trainings, and policies while cultivating a safety-first culture and guiding risk reduction initiatives.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong program development, and collaboration with management to ensure compliance with regulatory and owner requirements at all locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Health, Environmental Applied Sciences, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of EH&S experience with people management.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• OSHA 10-hour, OSHA 30-hour, and OSHA 40-hour training preferred.
• OSHA 500, CHST, or ASP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety audits and inspections across the division and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain employee safety training programs and records.
• Develop, update, and manage workplace safety programs, procedures, and policies.
• Create reports and presentations for safety briefings with management.
• Provide strategic direction to improve environmental, health, and safety performance and reduce risk.
• Oversee compliance with safety manual and ensure field employees and subcontractors follow it.
• Lead safety initiatives and provide coaching for direct reports.
