Job summary

Veit is a leading specialty contractor with a strong focus on safety and performance. We seek a Senior Safety Manager to develop and manage health and safety programs across multiple states for our Deep Foundations division.

You will lead safety professionals, conduct audits, and partner with project leaders to drive a robust safety culture. The role requires expertise in construction safety, cranes, rigging, and heavy equipment, plus a strong emphasis on OSHA and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety and health-related discipline required.
• Minimum 7 years of related experience in construction safety across multiple states.
• OSHA 30 Certification and knowledge of OSHA, ANSI standards and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of safety professionals across regions.
• Design, implement, and monitor safety policies and training programs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, DOT) across projects and sites.
• Lead incident investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Provide safety training and communicate with stakeholders to improve safety culture.
