Job summary

Veit seeks a Senior Safety Manager to develop and oversee health and safety programs across multiple states for our Deep Foundations division. You will lead a team of safety professionals, ensure OSHA compliance, conduct audits, and drive a strong safety culture in collaboration with project managers and site supervisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety/health discipline and 7+ years of related experience.
• 8–10 years of construction safety experience across multiple states.
• OSHA 30 Certification and in-depth OSHA knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of safety managers, coordinators, and consultants across regions.
• Design and implement safety policies and training aligned with OSHA and regulations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across locations; conduct audits and inspections.
• Lead incident investigations and report safety metrics to senior leadership.
• Develop and deliver safety training for field and office staff.
