Job summary

Veit is seeking a Safety Manager for Foundations to lead safety across projects, facilities, and sites. You’ll train staff on protocols, develop site-specific programs, and enforce OSHA standards to keep crews safe.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, audits, and continuous safety improvements, with a focus on field personnel and regulatory adherence. This is a full-time, on-site position in Rogers, MN.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in construction, waste, or transportation safety.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/Teams).
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and incident investigation.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety compliance for multiple sites, including projects, facilities, fleets, and field operations.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and property damage; determine root causes and implement mitigations.
• Deliver in-house safety training and write site-specific safety programs and Health and Safety Plans.
