Job summary

Veit & Company, Inc. is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to lead the safety program across multiple states within our Deep Foundations division. You will manage a team of safety professionals, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a strong safety culture on complex project sites.

The role requires extensive civil construction safety experience, OSHA knowledge, and the ability to travel 50%–70% across project locations. You will partner with project leaders to reduce risk and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety/health-related discipline and 7+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of safety managers, coordinators, and consultants across multiple regions.
• Design, implement, and oversee safety policies, programs, and training aligned with OSHA and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and state regulations across all locations; conduct audits and inspections.
• Lead incident investigations, analyze safety data, and drive corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety trainings; communicate across contractors, clients, and stakeholders.
