Job summary

MasTec Industrial seeks a Senior Safety Manager to lead field safety for MIC teams, representing the safety department and our organization with customers. The role includes traveling up to 75% across U.S. sites, with a vehicle allowance, meals, and lodging when traveling.

Key focus areas are driving safety processes, coordinating with EHS Leadership, HR, and project teams, and maintaining strong client communications. The position emphasizes leadership in safety programs and incident management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, OSH or related field.
• CHST or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
• ASP/CSP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive MIC’s safety processes and programs.
• Promote involvement in MIC safety from all management levels.
• Review and implement corrective actions for safety incidents.
• Inspect work for compliance with safety policies and regulations.
• Coordinate with HR on workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Provide training and mentorship to safety professionals.
