Job summary

hth companies is an industrial services provider serving the Midwest, seeking a Traveling Safety Manager to oversee safety compliance, train staff, and support site supervision across locations. The role requires frequent travel and strong knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and DOT regulations.

You will work with Corporate Office and field teams to implement safety programs, conduct audits, and maintain records while promoting a culture of safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• OSHA regulatory requirements knowledge and related training.
• Minimum of 3 years' direct Safety experience.
• Experience writing reports and business correspondence; ability to present to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Advises the Corporate Office on safety compliance concerns and preventative actions.
• Assist Corporate Safety and Site Superintendent in ensuring compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and DOT rules and regulations.
• Travels to various locations as needed (approx. 70% field work).
• Plans and conducts safety training for employees at job sites.
• Verifies Job Hazard Analyses and required permits are completed and hazards mitigated.
• Maintains safety files, records, and reports; conducts investigations of incidents.
• Attends weekly Supervisor safety training meetings and monthly Safety Manager meetings.
