Job summary

MasTec Utility Services seeks a Safety Manager to lead safety inspections, training, and regulatory compliance for OSHA, DOT, and EPA. You will evaluate risks, develop programs, and drive a robust safety culture across sites.

The role requires managing incident investigations, mentoring staff, and coordinating audits while communicating strategy to leadership and ensuring adherence to corporate policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of safety management experience and training.
• Must hold a valid state Driver's license.
• Working knowledge of construction and/or electrical industries.
• Ability to read maps, drawings, and diagrams for project plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support safety and compliance strategy and goals.
• Lead safety programs to drive culture, compliance, and results.
• Supervise safety staff and provide mentorship.
• Design metrics to track progress and drive accountability.
• Implement broad safety programs (electrical safety, driving safety, PPE, etc.).
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Provide training on safety initiatives and regulatory changes.
