Job summary

Upgrade Resources is seeking a Senior Safety Manager in Port Washington, WI to lead environmental, health, and safety programs across the division, potentially spanning multiple states. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Health, Environmental Applied Sciences, or related field.
• At least 8 years of EH&S experience, including people management.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• OSHA 10/30/40 training preferred; OSHA 500, CHST, or ASP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage safety audits and inspections across the division and ensure compliance with regulations, company, and owner requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain employee safety training programs and records.
• Develop, update, and manage workplace safety programs, procedures, and policies.
• Create reports and presentations for safety briefings with management.
• Provide strategic direction to improve environmental, health, and safety performance and minimize risk.
• Oversee safety manual implementation and ensure field employees and subcontractors comply.
• Ensure consistency, quality, and compliance at all locations.
• Direct programs to ensure regulatory compliance and internal policies.
• Guide departmental processes and activities for safety regulations and incident investigations.
• Lead design, implementation, and administration of safety initiatives and processes.
• Provide coaching and participate in annual performance reviews for direct reports.
• Manage recruitment and hiring for safety roles.
