Job summary

Saint-Gobain Life Sciences in Portage, WI is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead site safety culture and sustainability. You will partner with plant leadership to implement ISO-based systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across EHS programs.

Responsibilities include leading investigations, training, permits, and cross-site collaboration to share best practices while advancing World Class Manufacturing principles.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of manufacturing experience with a proven track record in reducing injuries and maintaining compliance.
• Strong safety background with experience in federal regulations and reporting (OSHA).
• Degree(s) as specified; professional certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs aligned with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Develop and maintain ISO-based EHS management systems and site procedures.
• Lead accident and incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver EHS training and partner with site leaders to reduce workplace risks.
• Collaborate with other sites to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.

Education

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Safety Sciences

Five years manufacturing experience

OSHA regulations knowledge

CSP Certification (preferred)

COSS Certification (preferred)

Master's degree (preferred)
