Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing operations, or 15+ years with no degree.
• 3+ years of front-line supervisory or management experience.
• 3+ years of Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (ESHS) experience.
• 1+ year of process engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental, health, safety, and regulatory compliance programs.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations including OSHA and EPA.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and policies; monitor adherence and identify improvements.
• Lead training, emergency planning, and incident investigations.
• Coordinate with leadership, maintenance, and regulatory counterparts to manage risks.
• Drive a proactive safety culture and track EHS KPIs for reporting.
