Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Houston seeks a Sr HSE Engineer to develop and implement health, safety, and environmental programs ensuring regulatory compliance and best practices. You will foster a safety culture and promote sustainability while protecting employees, customers, and the environment.

Responsibilities include risk assessment, incident investigations, and coordinating compliance activities with regional HSE leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in engineering (electrical, chemical, mechanical, environmental, etc.).
• 6+ years of experience in health, safety, and environmental field.
• 1+ years coordinating internal audits and implementing HSE management systems.
• Up to 50% travel to customer sites and projects in the US.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Honeywell Technologies corporate requirements, SBU/SBG programs and local legislation.
• Conduct thorough incident investigations and identify root causes to prevent recurrences.
• Represent HPS business within own jurisdiction and cooperate with regional HSE structures.
• Maintain/improve country’s HSE Management System performance and maturity.
• Establish relationships with site leadership and regional HSE leaders to drive HSE goals.
• Identify actions required to certify/maintain ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.
