Job summary

Honeywell is seeking an Environmental Safety Engineer to lead the organization’s environmental safety engineering efforts, ensuring the highest health and safety standards for employees and regulatory compliance across activities. The role focuses on integrating HSE into business processes and influencing stakeholders to support sustainable operations.

The candidate should bring 3–5 years of environmental compliance experience, strong knowledge of regulations, and proficiency with HSE management

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in environmental compliance in a chemical plant or manufacturing environment.
• In‑depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency in HSE Management Systems.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and strategic planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage Title V Air Permit compliance, including required monitoring, recordkeeping, and regulatory reporting activities.
• Ensure stormwater sampling, monitoring, and reporting are conducted in accordance with the SWPPP, including timely submission of Discharge Monitoring Reports.
• Manage hazardous and non‑hazardous waste programs, including waste characterization, disposal, manifest tracking, and maintenance of waste stream records.
• Serve as the Environmental subject matter expert for other environmental reporting such as groundwater monitoring, injection wells, greenhouse gas reporting (TRI, Tier II, CERCLA, TSCA).
• Support other media compliance as needed.

Your ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders will ensure that HSE considerations are integrated into business processes and decision‑making, contributing to the overall success and reputation of the business as a responsible and sustainable organization.
