Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Health, Safety & Environment professional in Torrance, CA to implement and maintain safety policies and programs. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and continuous improvement of safety practices in a high‑hazard aerospace setting.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years of relevant experience, working knowledge of Cal/OSHA requirements, and the ability to collaborate with regulatory bodies and internal teams to safeguard workers

Qualifications

• 5 years of directly related experience in health and safety practice.
• Strong experience and technical knowledge with occupational safety and injury prevention programs.

Responsibilities

• Implements and maintains company policies adhering to state health and safety regulations.
• Involved in the design and development of facilities, work areas and work procedures and makes health and safety recommendations accordingly.
• Develops and implements health and safety programs
• Responsible for preparing, maintaining, and updating health and safety policy and procedure manuals.
• Ensures compliance with all health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization.
• Serves as contact with federal, state, and local regulatory bodies.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used safety engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Works under immediate supervision of the Torrance HSE&F Manager.
