Sr HSE Engineer

As a Sr HSE Engineer at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the organization’s health, safety, and environmental engineering efforts. You will ensure the highest standards of health and safety for employees, compliance with environmental regulations, and the implementation of best practices in engineering‑related safety.

  • Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders for effective communication on HSE matters.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • 5+ years of experience in HSE Engineering.
  • In‑depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA requirements, hazard identification and risk assessment, incident investigation and root cause analysis, contractor safety, PPE, emergency preparedness, ergonomics, material‑handling safety, lockout/tagout, machine guarding, chemical safety, and environmental compliance obligations.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, HSE tracking or reporting systems, incident and corrective‑action documentation, spreadsheet‑based data analysis, presentation preparation, email communication, and maintaining accurate electronic records.
