Idaho National Laboratory seeks a Safeguards Senior Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team overseeing nuclear material control, safeguards oversight, and analytical activities at the Materials and Fuels Complex. You will direct resources, set criteria for SNM receipts, shipments, inventories, and ensure DOE compliance.

The role emphasizes cross-functional coordination, personnel development, and strategic decision-making, with a 4x10 schedule and Fridays off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or 14 years in lieu of a degree.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience including change management and team development.
• DOE 'Q' Clearance required; US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary safeguards team across DOE/NRC requirements.
• Allocate resources and set criteria for SNM receipts and shipments.
• Oversee nuclear material activities at INL facilities.
• Develop and implement succession plans and staffing.
• Communicate program results and ensure cross-site coordination.
