Job summary

Aalo Atomics seeks a Safeguards and Security Lead to establish and operate the Idaho Falls safeguards, physical security, and material-control program. You will protect personnel, facilities, and nuclear materials with graded controls, aligned to DOE authorization and future regulatory needs.

You will report to the SVP of Nuclear Operations and engage with the CEO on sensitive issues, with responsibilities spanning on-site Idaho Falls and oversight for Austin, TX facilities.

Qualifications

• Six+ years in nuclear safeguards or related security fields.
• Two+ years in a leading security or safeguards role at a high-security facility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain safeguards and security program for Idaho Falls.
• Establish graded physical protection measures for facilities and materials.
• Lead access control, badge management, visitor control, and alarm response.
• Coordinate with DOE, national labs, law enforcement, regulators, and others.
• Protect sensitive information and controlled data in coordination with info-security.
