Job summary

Resource Innovations is seeking a Software Engineer Lead to join our SaaS team. This is remote role with occasional in-person meetings in Denver, CO. You will design, develop and deploy cloud-based software for energy utilities, leading a team and shaping product craftsmanship.

Ideal candidates have strong PHP Laravel Vue.js experience, RESTful APIs, and a passion for sustainable tech. You’ll collaborate across disciplines, implement best practices, and contribute to decarbonization through

Qualifications

• 6+ years of PHP development experience.
• 4+ years building Vue.js single-page applications.
• Experience designing and building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Laravel framework and PHP 8.x.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a scalable, secure SaaS product using PHP, Laravel, Vue.js and Tailwind CSS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a software SaaS product aligned with business needs.
• Ensure performance, security, and scalability with emphasis on energy efficiency and sustainability.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor peers to improve code quality.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal user experience.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.
• Contribute to end-to-end SDLC from requirements to deployment and maintenance.
• Influence strategic software direction focused on energy efficiency and decarbonization.
• Uphold company values in all technology projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
