Job summary

Resource Innovations, a women-led energy transformation firm, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based SaaS products. You will architect scalable solutions using Laravel and Vue.js, drive best practices in security and performance, and mentor engineers across a cross-functional team.

The role is remote with periodic in-person meetings in the US; candidates must reside in the United States and be eligible to work without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Expertise with PHP 8.x and Laravel.
• Strong Vue.js experience (6+ years).
• Experience building RESTful APIs.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• Experience with AWS and Serverless architectures.
• Experience with Pest/PHPUnit testing.
• Familiarity with NodeJS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of a scalable, efficient SaaS product.
• Collaborate with designers, PMs, and program teams to align software with business needs.
• Ensure security, performance, and scalability best practices.
• Mentor engineers and promote a culture of learning and innovation.
• Review code and drive high-quality software across the stack.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and frontend integration.
• Contribute to strategic engineering direction for energy-efficient products.
• Engage in full SDLC from requirements to deployment and maintenance.
• Stay current with emerging tech and industry trends.
• Perform in a proactive, problem-solving manner.
