Job summary

Cytel is seeking an experienced epidemiology/biostatistics professional to advance RWE analytics using large data sources. You will prepare Real World data, develop analytic strategies, and support stakeholders across multiple projects.

You will program statistical analyses, create data linkages, and contribute to reporting and visualization of observational studies. Strong communication and project management are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in related field and 5+ years of RWE analytics experience.
• Proficiency in SQL; SAS or R required.
• Deep expertise analyzing RWE datasets from major sources.
• Experience with relational databases and claims data layouts.
• Experience with applied statistics (regression, survival, propensity weighting).
• Excellent project management and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Support Epidemiology team by preparing real-world data and advising on analytic strategies.
• Program and conduct statistical analyses including data coding and algorithm creation.
• Support standardization, visualization, and reporting of observational data.
• Assist Medical Affairs, Global Patient Safety, and Clinical Development with analyses.
• Partner with epidemiologists to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Prioritize work across multiple projects and communicate results clearly.
• Troubleshoot technical problems with applied experience.
