Job summary

Cytel Inc. is seeking a senior Epidemiology/RWE Analyst to advance real-world evidence studies using large data sources and statistical methods. You will collaborate with epidemiologists and stakeholders to design analyses and interpret results.

Responsibilities include programming in SAS/R, managing data extracts, building analytic databases, and presenting findings to clients. A Master’s or PhD with 5+ years of RWE/epidemiology experience is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience conducting RWE analytics in pharma, CRO, or academia.
• Strong SQL skills; SAS or R proficiency required.
• Experience with RWD sources such as Clinformatics Datamart, Truveta, UK Biobank.
• Knowledge of relational databases and claims/eHR data layouts.
• Expertise in regression, survival, Cox, GEE, and propensity weighting.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of study protocols and analysis plans leveraging large RWD sources (Claims and/or EHR)
• Liaise with data vendors to obtain relevant data extracts for research studies consistent with study protocols
• Create analytical databases from data extracts to facilitate conduct of data analyses
• Conduct analyses consistent with methods set forth in study protocols and analysis plans
• Produce tables and figures for discussions with other investigators, clients, and for study reports
• Present results internally and to clients
• Assist in the preparation of study reports and other deliverables
• May have supervisory responsibilities in the future
