Job summary

Cytel Inc. is seeking a seasoned epidemiology/data analytics professional to support Real World Data (RWD) studies and analytic strategy within the Epidemiology team. You will conduct statistical analyses, code data, and link datasets under guidance from senior statisticians.

You will work with data vendors to acquire extracts, build analytical databases, and produce tables/figures for study reports and client discussions. Strong communication and project management are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, bioinformatics, economics with 5+ years of RWE analytics experience in pharma, CRO, or academia.
• Proficiency in SQL is required; SAS or R proficiency is required.
• Deep expertise analyzing RWE data sources such as Optum Clinformatics Datamart, Market Clarity, Truveta, and UK Biobank.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Epidemiology by preparing Real World data, advising on analytic strategies, and supporting stakeholders across epidemiology analytics.
• Program and conduct statistical analyses under supervision, including data coding, algorithm creation, dataset linkage, and use of statistical packages.
• Support data standardization, visualization, and reporting of observational data.
• Collaborate with Epidemiologists and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
• Assist in development of study protocols and analysis plans leveraging large RWD sources (Claims and/or EHR).
• Liaise with data vendors for data extracts and create analytical databases to facilitate analyses.
• Present results internally and to clients; assist in study reports and deliverables.
