Job summary

Cytel seeks an experienced epidemiology data analyst to drive Real World Evidence analytics in pharma settings. You will design and execute analyses on large data sources (claims/EHR), integrate datasets, and generate actionable results for stakeholders.

Responsibilities include developing study protocols, liaising with vendors, building analytical databases, and presenting findings to clients. Collaboration with epidemiologists and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, bioinformatics, economics with 5+ years of RWE analytics experience.
• SQL proficiency required; SAS or R proficiency also required.
• Deep expertise in analyzing RWE data sources such as Optum Clinformatics Datamart, Truveta, UK Biobank.
• Familiarity with relational databases and claims/ancillary file layouts.
• Experience with applied statistics including regression, survival, and propensity weighting.
• Excellent project management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication for stakeholder interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of study protocols and analysis plans using large RWD sources (claims/EHR).
• Liaise with data vendors to obtain data extracts for studies.
• Create analytical databases from data extracts to enable analyses.
• Conduct analyses per study protocols and analysis plans.
• Produce tables/figures for investigators and study reports.
• Present results to clients and internal teams.
• Assist in preparing study reports and deliverables.
• May have supervisory responsibilities in the future.
