Job summary

Cytel is seeking a data/epidemiology specialist to advance Real World Evidence analytics. You will prepare large RWD sources (claims/EHR), design analytic strategies, and work with data vendors to produce analyzable datasets.

You will generate tables/figures for investigators, clients, and study reports, and present results internally and to clients. You will collaborate with epidemiologists to manage stakeholder relationships, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related field with 5+ years of RWE analytics experience.
• Proficiency in SQL; SAS or R required.
• Depth in analyzing RWE data sources such as Optum Clinformatics, Truveta, UK Biobank.
• Experience with regression, survival, Cox, GLM/GEE, and propensity weighting.
• Familiarity with relational databases and claims data layouts.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Epidemiology by preparing Real World data and advising on analytic strategies.
• Program and conduct statistical analyses under supervision of epidemiologists/statisticians.
• Support data standardization, visualization, and reporting of observational data.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Global Patient Safety, and Clinical Development on observational studies and regulatory documents.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders and prioritize multiple projects.
