Job summary

Cytel is seeking a senior epidemiology data scientist in Washington, DC, to support the Epidemiology team with Real World Data (RWD) analytics and strategy development.

Responsibilities include protocol development, data extraction liaison, analytical database creation, and results presentation to internal teams and clients. 5+ years in RWE analytics and expertise in SQL/SAS/R are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, or related field with 5+ years of RWE analytics experience for pharma, CRO, or academia.
• Proficiency in SQL is required; SAS or R proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of study protocols and analysis plans using large RWD sources (Claims and/or EHR).
• Liaise with data vendors to obtain data extracts for research studies.
• Create analytical databases from data extracts to facilitate analyses.
• Conduct analyses as per study protocols and plans.
• Produce tables and figures for investigators, clients, and study reports.
• Present results internally and to clients; assist in study report preparation.
• Potential supervision responsibilities in the future.
