Job summary

Cytel is hiring in Indianapolis, IN for an epidemiology data analytics role focused on Real World Data (RWD/RWE). You will support the epidemiology team with data preparation, analytical strategies, and stakeholder engagement while performing statistical programming and data standardization to inform regulatory and safety documents.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related field and 5+ years of experience conducting RWE analytics for pharma/CRO/academic settings.
• Intermediate to expert SQL proficiency is required; SAS or R proficiency is required.
• Deep expertise analyzing RWE data sources such as Optum Clinformatics Datamart, Market Clarity, Truveta, and UK Biobank; clinical trial data experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with relational databases and claims/ancillary file layouts.
• Experience with regression, survival, propensity weighting analyses and related statistics.
• Excellent project management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of study protocols and analysis plans leveraging large RWD sources (Claims and/or EHR)
• Liaise with data vendors to obtain data extracts aligned with study protocols
• Create analytical databases from data extracts to enable analyses
• Conduct analyses per study protocols and analysis plans
• Produce tables and figures for discussions with investigators, clients, and study reports
• Present results internally and to clients
• Assist in preparation of study reports and deliverables
• May have supervisory responsibilities in the future
