Job summary

Cytel Inc. is seeking an experienced epidemiology analytics professional to support real world data studies from large RWD sources (Claims/EHR). You will design analysis plans, liaise with data vendors, and create analytic databases for analyses.

The role emphasizes advanced statistical methods (regression, survival, propensity weighting), stakeholder communication, and potential supervisory responsibilities in the future. On-site in the US, ND region preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in related field and 5+ years of RWE analytics experience in pharma, CRO, or academia.
• SQL proficiency is a must; SAS or R proficiency is required.
• Deep expertise analyzing RWE data sources (Optum Clinformatics Datamart, Truveta, UK Biobank) and clinical data.
• Experience analyzing clinical trial and/or registry data.
• Relational databases familiarity and understanding of claims/ancillary file layouts.
• Applied statistics experience: regression, survival, propensity weighting.
• Excellent project management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of study protocols and analysis plans leveraging large RWD sources (Claims and/or EHR).
• Liaise with data vendors to obtain data extracts for research studies consistent with study protocols.
• Create analytical databases from data extracts to facilitate data analyses.
• Conduct analyses in line with study protocols and analysis plans.
• Produce tables and figures for discussions with investigators, clients, and study reports.
• Present results internally and to clients.
• Assist in preparation of study reports and other deliverables.
• May have supervisory responsibilities in the future.
