Job summary

GSR is seeking a seasoned Rust developer to build the low-latency trading platform connecting to crypto spot and derivatives markets. You’ll work on market data distribution, order placement, and balance management, delivering production-ready components.

You will collaborate with trading, quant, and engineering teams to ship features that improve latency, reliability, and analytics access, in a multiregional environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in fintech (tradfi and/or crypto) with front office experience.
• Strong CS/engineering/math background or equivalent.
• Experience coding in Rust (preferred) or C++.
• Experience building low latency, distributed systems and networking.
• Solid understanding of market data feeds and trading workflows.
• Excellent communication bridging front office and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core components of GSR's low latency trading platform in Rust.
• Maintain data quality, cataloguing, and provenance across the platform.
• Build APIs and services delivering analytics data in self-serve form.
• Advance market connectivity and trading infrastructure
• Collaborate with quants, traders, operations, and engineering to deliver outcomes.
• Contribute hands-on development in a multiregional team on production systems.
