Clear Street is modernizing the brokerage ecosystem. We are building a cloud-native clearing and custody platform used across capital markets, with a focus on low-latency, high-throughput trading infrastructure.

The Role: you will build and scale mission-critical order and execution management systems in Rust, shaping architecture for a fast-moving platform, implementing risk controls, and translating regulatory requirements into reliable platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• Expertise in event-driven architectures and distributed systems.
• Strong domain-driven data modeling and design skills.
• Experience with production Rust and capital-markets workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale order and execution management infrastructure in Rust.
• Design low-latency, fault-tolerant distributed trading systems.
• Shape architecture and engineering direction for a cloud trading platform.
• Develop audit-ready risk controls and venue-specific trading abstractions.
• Translate regulatory and market-structure requirements into platform capabilities.
