Job summary

Public Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex rural health transformation initiatives. You will manage multiple integrated workstreams, govern project delivery, manage risks, and engage client leadership to drive outcomes.

The role requires strong organizational skills, healthcare knowledge, and ability to coordinate diverse teams toward shared objectives. Remote work with travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) or more years of progressively responsible project or program management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of complex rural health transformation projects.
• Establish PM standards, processes, reporting structures.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, work plans, timelines, risk logs, issue trackers, dashboards.
• Monitor project health, milestones, budget, deliverables, dependencies; escalate as needed.
• Identify project risks, barriers, resource constraints; develop mitigation strategies with leadership.
• Ensure alignment across teams and contractual commitments.
• Act as a primary contact for client leadership; maintain trusted relationships.
• Lead governance activities: steering committees, leadership meetings, reports, communications.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across policy, operations, healthcare delivery, analytics, tech.
• Synthesize information into executive-level presentations and communications.
• Interpret federal/state regulations to inform planning and implementation.
• Lead issue resolution and remove barriers to success.
• Oversee deliverables quality and timeliness across workstreams.
• Manage project financial performance and invoicing.
