Job summary

Public Consulting Group LLC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex rural health transformation initiatives. You will guide multiple interdependent workstreams, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and strategic objectives while serving as the primary client-facing leader.

The role requires exceptional organizational skills, governance, risk management, and strong communication with client executives and internal leadership.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Policy, or related field.
• A Master’s degree is preferred for advanced roles.
• Seven or more years of progressively responsible project or program management experience.
• Experience serving as a primary client-facing project lead with executive-level stakeholder relationships.
• Experience leading large-scale healthcare, Medicaid, public health, behavioral health or transformation initiatives is preferred.
• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of complex rural health transformation projects across multiple workstreams.
• Establish standards, tools, processes, and reporting structures for accountability and transparency.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, risk logs, and dashboards.
• Monitor health, milestones, budget, deliverables, dependencies, and resources; escalate and mitigate as needed.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate with client executives and internal leadership.
