Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience as a title agent or related title position.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including spreadsheet and word processing.
• Specialized knowledge in methods and techniques for title research.
• Ability to work alone, make decisions, and use judgment while researching county records.
• Practical experience in applying, modifying and adapting standards, techniques and procedures.
• Advanced knowledge to plot metes and bounds descriptions and convert land measurements.

Responsibilities

• Assist ROW Supervisor by guiding ROW Agents and obtaining permission to enter properties.
• Negotiate ROW options, easements, fee interests, and curative documents.
• Develop construction lines from landowner restrictions for ROW.
• Maintain detailed diaries of property contacts and weekly activity reports.
• Maintain logs of all payments.
• Negotiate damage settlements as required.
• Support construction activities and document ROW actions.
• Adhere to project Safety Plan.
