Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Right of Way Agent to support land acquisitions for public utility projects. You will handle negotiations, property records, and documentation under supervision, with strong emphasis on easement handling and settlements.

The role requires at least 3 years in ROW or real estate services, proficient MS Office skills, and ability to travel. A safety-conscious, detail-oriented professional will thrive in this office-based position with field components.

Qualifications

3 years of experience as a ROW agent or related ROW position.
Must have experience negotiating easements.
Must have experience providing construction support and damage settlement.
Must have experience researching land ownership.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including spreadsheet and word processing.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Secure permission to enter properties from landowners and tenants.
Negotiate ROW options, easements, fee interest, and curative documents as directed by ROW Supervisor.
Develop a construction line from ROW conditions/restrictions with landowners/tenants.
Maintain a detailed diary of contacts for each property owner and tenant.
Maintain a detailed log of all payments and settlements.
Support construction activities as required.
Document all ROW activities; adhere to Safety Plan.
Mediate ROW encroachments as required.
