Job summary

Highlands Vista Group is seeking a Senior Roving Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance across multiple HVG communities. You will lead a team, conduct inspections, and implement preventive maintenance to minimize downtime while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires travel to different communities, including potential week-long overnight stays, and a focus on improving work order completion and staffing effectiveness. Prior supervisory experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential maintenance experience.
• Proven experience in supervising maintenance teams and managing operations.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, including familiarity with high and low voltage systems.
• Proficient in using CMMS for maintenance management and scheduling.
• Experience with HVAC systems and programmable logic controllers.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks across multifamily sites, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC issues.
• Travel to underperforming properties to support day-to-day maintenance operations.
• Complete repairs and make-ready tasks to achieve market-ready units on time.
• Lead and train maintenance staff, ensure safety and adherence to standards.
• Maintain equipment and inventory, participate in on-call rotations as needed.
