Job summary

Highlands Vista Group is seeking a Senior Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations across HVG communities in Virginia, South Carolina, and Georgia. You will lead a team, ensure safety and compliance, and implement preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

This role requires 5+ years in residential maintenance, strong leadership, and experience with CMMS, HVAC, and electrical systems. Travel between properties is expected to support underperforming sites and keep facilities

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential maintenance experience.
• Proven experience in supervising maintenance teams and managing industrial maintenance operations.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, including familiarity with high and low voltage systems.
• Proficient in using CMMS for maintenance management and scheduling.
• Experience with HVAC systems and programmable logic controllers.
• HVAC, CPO, and EPA Universal certificate are preferred.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to read and interpret schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform various maintenance functions including minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, and heating/air issues.
• Travels between HVG properties to assist in day-to-day maintenance operations.
• Completes minor repairs and improvements in vacant units to achieve market-ready status promptly.
• Performs general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair and cabinet replacement.
• Maintains equipment and monitors inventory.
• Assist with snow removal and seasonal upkeep.
• Assists with trash removal and grounds maintenance.
• Performs emergency on-call service after hours as required.
• Assists with emergency roof and exterior siding repairs.
• Performs assigned preventive maintenance duties and tasks.
• Completes special projects as directed by Regional Manager.
• Fosters professional relationships with residents and staff, upholding confidentiality.
• Participates in training seminars as requested.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
