Job summary

JetBlue Airways in New York seeks a Manager Route Planning to lead short-, mid-, and long-term network planning with a strong analytics focus, turning data into actionable insights for profitability and strategic decisions across commercial and finance teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant work experience.
Five years of analytical experience in a related field.
Four years in Airline Network Planning, Revenue Management, or related analytics.
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Access; SQL; Tableau.
Willingness to travel occasionally (about 10%).

Responsibilities

Develop, improve, and evolve the network intelligence toolkit for capacity planning and network strategy.
Evaluate industry revenue trends and identify strengths and weaknesses at macro and micro levels.
Analyze JetBlue's performance vs. competition by route to maximize profitability.
Gather external data and prepare reports for senior leadership.
Monitor competitive activity and analyze industry changes.
Lead cross-functional network projects across commercial and finance teams.
Research new markets, prepare revenue forecasts, and optimize the JetBlue network.
