Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources, LLC is seeking a Senior ROCC Operator to monitor and control the company's 54GW renewable portfolio in a 24/7 ROCC environment. You will coordinate switching, handle alarms, and ensure compliance with NERC standards while supporting restoration and outages with internal and external partners.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, an associate degree or equivalent experience, and 4+ years in power operations or a related field.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 4+ years in power operations or related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control transmission, substation, and high‑voltage equipment in real time.
• Write switching orders and clearance documentation.
• Coordinate outages with internal and external stakeholders.
• Respond to abnormal operating conditions and support restoration efforts.
• Maintain logs and comply with reliability standards (NERC, FERC, ISO/RTO).
