Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources seeks a skilled Renewable Operations Control Center (ROCC) Senior Operator to monitor and control large-scale transmission and substation assets. You will coordinate switching, clearances, and outage planning while ensuring adherence to reliability standards and safety protocols.

This role requires 4+ years of experience, strong alarm monitoring, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment across a growing renewables fleet.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED.
• Associate’s or Equivalent Experience.
• 4+ years of experience in power operations or related field.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control transmission, substation, and high-voltage equipment in real time.
• Write switching orders and clearance documentation.
• Coordinate outages and clearances with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with NERC, regional reliability standards, and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate operating logs and participate in required training.
