Job summary

Anduril Industries is hiring for a senior role in its Battlespace Awareness Command and Control Software team. The position focuses on developing fast, reliable path planning and routing for autonomous unmanned systems within real-time C2 environments.

You will prototype algorithms, implement robust planners, and optimize performance in dynamic, contested environments, contributing across the development lifecycle and supporting mission-critical customer use cases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in algorithm design, software development, and mathematical modeling.
• Experience with path planning techniques (A*/D* Lite, RRT, PRM).
• GNC, trajectory optimization, or predictive models for vehicle dynamics.
• Robust, concurrent code development for planning under uncertainty.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a small team on path planning and route optimization.
• Prototype and deploy state-of-the-art planning algorithms for C2 systems.
• Develop online real-time path planning that adapts to changing conditions.
• Create high-performance real-time C2 software for field platforms and autonomous tasks.
• Implement planners, search algorithms, and decision systems for dynamic environments.
• Analyze system performance using simulations and statistics to validate behavior.
• Support customer success with routing, autonomy, and threat avoidance use cases.
• Integrate path planning into the broader C2 software stack and lifecycle.
• Translate progress into clear insights for stakeholders.
