Job summary

Cintal, Inc. is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and maintain embedded localization software for autonomous systems.

You will implement GNSS/inertial/state estimation algorithms and contribute to software architecture and system design, collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes production-quality C++ software, ROS integration, and verification/validation to ensure reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development, robotics, autonomous systems, localization, or related engineering domains.
• Proficient in Python and C++ with production-quality embedded or robotic software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software solutions for localization and autonomous systems.
• Develop production-quality C++ software following established engineering standards.
• Implement positioning, navigation, and state estimation algorithms using GNSS, inertial, and perception-based sensor data.
• Participate in software architecture, requirements development, and system design activities.
• Analyze, debug, and resolve complex software and system-level issues.
• Conduct software validation, verification, and performance testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
