Job summary

SR2 is partnering with a venture-backed robotics company building autonomous systems for real-world logistics. As a Senior Robotics Software Engineer, you will develop production-grade software in C++ and Python and deploy it on autonomous platforms.

You will collaborate with hardware, firmware, and mechanical teams to bring up systems, debug issues, and optimize performance. Experience with ROS2 in production is required, with hands-on hardware bring-up.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial robotics software experience.
• Strong C++ and Python development skills.
• Experience with ROS2 in production environments.
• Hands-on experience bringing up and debugging robotic hardware.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment with a high level of ownership.

Responsibilities

• Develop production-grade robotics software using modern C++ and Python.
• Build, test and deploy software on autonomous robotic platforms.
• Work across hardware and software to bring up, debug and optimise robotic systems.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical and firmware engineers.
• Contribute to the architecture and evolution of a growing robotics platform.
